Alexander Nikolajewitsch Vorobjow (born October 27, 1969 ) is a former Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Vorobjow ran in January 1993 in Kawgolowo his first of a total of 27 individual World Cup races , which he finished classically in 30th place over 30 km. At the World Championships in Falun in 1993 , he came in over 10 km classic and over 50 km freestyle in 20th place and in the pursuit race in 15th place. This 15th place was his best individual result in the World Cup. In March 1993 he was second with the relay at the World Cup in Lahti . In the 1993/94 season he achieved four places in the points and reached his best overall World Cup with 50th place in the overall World Cup. At the highlight of the season, the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer , he finished 17th over 50 km classic. In the 1995/96 season he reached four places in the points and thus finished 50th in the overall World Cup. He completed his last World Cup race in March 1996 in Oslo , which he finished classically in 19th place over 50 km.
