Alexander Prushinskiy

Alexander Prushinskiy (* 1981 in Novosibirsk ) is a Russian violinist .

Life

Alexander Prushinskiy studied from 1998 at the Magnitogorsk Academy of Music . In 1999 he received a scholarship to the Escuela de la Música Reina Sofía in Madrid with Zakhar Bron and at the Cologne University of Music also with Zakhar Bron.

Since 2009 he has been the first concertmaster of the Dortmund Philharmonic . As a soloist and concertmaster, he is a. a. Regularly engaged by the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne , the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra of the Netherlands, the NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover and the German Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern . In addition to these engagements, Alexander Prushinskiy is a passionate chamber musician: with the Astor Trio , the Arisva Quartet and as musical director of the Cologne Classical Ensemble .
