Alexander Schessler ( Kazakh-Cyrillic Александр Шеслер ; born January 25, 1985 ) is a Kazakh biathlete .

Alexander Schessler started for the first time at the Junior European Championships 2005 in Novosibirsk at a major international event. In the individual he was 26th, in the sprint 21st, in the pursuit 20th and with the relay sixth. The Junior World Championships of the same year in Kontiolahti went less well with 52nd place in the individual as the best result. Since 2005 the Kazakh started in the adult sector. He finished his first sprint race in Obertilliach as part of the Biathlon European Cup on 102nd place. The next results improved and stabilized at first in the 60s and 70s ranks. At the beginning of 2007/08 Schessler was used in Kontiolahti for the first time in the Biathlon World Cup and was 110th in his first individual. Schessler achieved better placements in the points races in relay races. At the 2008 Biathlon World Championships in Östersund , he was scheduled for three races. In the sprint, the Kazakh came in 93rd place and in the relay he was 22. In the individual he did not compete despite reports.
