Alexander Siebeck (born November 3, 1993 in Leipzig ) is a German soccer player who currently plays for the German regional league club SV Babelsberg 03 .
Career
Siebeck began his football career in the youth of 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig , before moving to the youth department of RB Leipzig in 2009. There he finally rose to become a regular in the second team, whose captain he was last. After the second team from RB Leipzig was disbanded at the end of the 2016/17 season, Siebeck moved to third division club Karlsruher SC free of charge . There he came on August 2, 2017, the 3rd match day of the 2017/18 season, in the 0-2 away defeat against Werder Bremen II for his first professional appearance. Originally committed to the offensive midfield, Siebeck was used by coach Marc-Patrick Meister in various positions, but not in his regular position. Under Meister's successor, Alois Schwartz , there were no more plans for Siebeck. During the 2017/18 winter break, it was awarded to the front-runner of the fourth-class Regionalliga Nordost, Energie Cottbus.
In January 2019 he was awarded to the Austrian second division club SC Wiener Neustadt , with whom he had to be relegated to the regional league at the end of the season. After his return to the second division Karlsruhe in the summer of 2019, the club no longer planned with Siebeck. The offensive player then joined the northeast regional league team Berliner AK 07 , where he stayed until the 2019/2020 winter break and played 20 competitive games. In January 2020, the midfielder moved to league rivals SV Babelsberg 03 , where he became a regular player straight away.
