Alexander Siegmund Pordes
Alexander Siegmund Pordes , also Alexander Sigmund Pordes-Milo (born December 6, 1878 in Lemberg , Galicia , † October 29, 1931 in Berlin ) was a writer and librettist of over 50 operettas, singing and drama.
The brandy song with the text It tastes the brandy / fine in every country from Walter Wilhelm Goetzes operetta “ Adrienne ” is probably his best-known work even today.
