Alexander von Reiswitz

Alexander von Reiswitz (* 1965 in Málaga , Spain) is a German photographer and architect.

Life

Born in 1965 in Málaga, Spain. There he went to the school of the French community. In 1982 he moved to Munich to study art history , and in 1987 to Paris . There he completed his architecture studies at the Ecole d´ Architecture de Paris-la-villette in 1994. Since then he has lived in Berlin .

Working as a photographer

In 1997 he opened Atelier A (studio for architecture and photography). In 1999 he founded " Kamaleon", an association for artists that makes contacts across national borders. Since 2000 he has organized a. a. the Paris-Berlin artist exchange together with the " Le Génie de La Bastille" association , which enabled 50 Berlin and Parisian artists to stay in the twin city. His predominantly black and white photo cycles have been published in magazines around the world.
