Alexandre Gaydamak

Alexandre Gaydamak ( Russian Александр Гайдамак , Hebrew אלכסנדר גאידמק; * May 1976 in France ) is a French businessman of Russian descent, he also has an Israeli passport. He belongs to the wealthy Gaydamak family, his father is Arcadi Gaydamak .

Life

In January 2006 Gaydamak announced that he and Milan Mandarić will take over the English Premier League club Portsmouth FC for 22 million euros each . In July 2006, Alexandre Gaydamak became the sole owner of the club, and in 2009 it became the property of Sulayman al-Fahim .
