Sulaiman Abd al-Karim Mohammad al-Fahim ( Arabic سليمان عبد الكريم محمد الفهيم, DMG Sulaimān ʿAbdu l-Karīm Muḥammad al-Fahīm ; * 1977 in Dubai , United Arab Emirates ) is a billionaire and managing director of Hydra Properties .

Life

Al-Fahim supports many projects financially, for example he is currently the President of the United Arab Emirates Chess Association. He was also the new owner of Portsmouth FC , a club from the English Premier League , at short notice since July 2009 . He is often associated with Manchester City , another top club from England, for whose takeover by an investment group from the Abu Dhabi sheikdom he is responsible. However, according to his own statement, he is no longer in the owner consortium of the league competitor. Furthermore, with the help of the Italian top club Inter Milan, he campaigns for youth work in football in his home country.
