Alexandre Geijo Pazos , short Geijo (born September 5, 1982 in Geneva ) is a Spanish-Swiss football player on the position of the striker .

Player career

Alexandre Geijo has both Spanish and Swiss citizenship . He began his career at the traditional Swiss club Neuchâtel Xamax . In 2001, at the age of 18, he moved to his parents' homeland. First he played for three years for the second team of FC Málaga , then in the first team. After he went goalless in his first season in the Primera with the Andalusians, he went to the Segunda División to Deportivo Xerez . There he was able to develop into a reliable goalscorer and attracted the interest of first division club Levante UD , where he was then active from 2007 to 2009.
