Career

Pittin first started in FIS races in November 1998. He drove his first races in the European Cup in March 2002. In 2002 and 2003 he took part in the Junior World Championships and achieved 12th place in the Super-G 2003 as the best result. The Frenchman celebrated his first European Cup victory on January 31, 2008 in the departure of his home town of Chamonix , he had never been in the top ten before. In the 2007/08 season he got two more top 10 places and in the end he finished ninth in the downhill classification.

In 2004 Pittin made his first two downhill runs in the World Cup , but remained well outside the points. The next World Cup races did not follow until 2008. This year he finished 31st in each of the two downhill runs from Kvitfjell and barely missed his first World Cup points. At the next World Cup starts a year later, again in Kvitfjell, he did not make it into the top 50. Pittin had to end the 2009/10 season in November due to an injury. In the summer of 2010, Pittin injured himself again during training in South America and then did not contest any more races.
