Alexandre Raineau (born June 21, 1986 in Paris ) is a French football player .

Career

As a teenager, Raineau went through the INF Clairefontaine training center and then received further training from SM Caen . At the same time he was appointed to the French U-18 team and later ran for the U-20 and U-21 teams. For the latter he came in 2007 in a 4-1 win against the German team. At club level, he made the leap to the first team at Caen in 2006. He made his professional debut when he was in the starting line-up in a 1-0 game against FC Gueugnon on November 10, 2006 . At the end of this season, in which he played another six games, he was able to celebrate promotion to the first division with the team. At the end of October 2007, Raineau made his first division debut, but it was his only league game in the first half of the season. Accordingly, at the beginning of 2008 he was loaned to the second division club FC Libourne-Saint-Seurin , where he became a regular player.

After his return to Caen, he ran regularly for the club, which was an elevator team between the first and second division in this phase , and often played from the start. However, even with advancing age, he was unable to become a fixed service provider. In 2014 he was promoted back to the first division, but he was not called up at all afterwards. Nevertheless, he remained part of the squad and came back to some missions in the 2015/16 season. After reaching seventh place in the table, his contract was not extended at the end of the season. Raineau then moved to the third division club LB Châteauroux . In 2017 he made it to the second division with Châteauroux.
