Alexandrine Spring
Alexandrine Spring is one of the warm springs in Marienbad in the Czech Republic . It is located east of Ferdinand's fountain near the Alfred's spring .
The water from this alkaline - saline spring is drunk as medicinal water and used for baths. The Alexandrinenquelle ( brought into operation in 1873 on behalf of and during the construction of the Northwestern Bank and owned by the Teplon Monastery from 1877 to 1921 , nationalized from 1921) was taken in 1877/1878 and provided with a well house .
The water had a temperature of 9 degrees at normal air temperature at the source outlet and a source flow of less than five liters per minute. The main chemical component is dissolved Glauber's salt , but only about a third of the amount contained in Ferdinand's fountain.
