Julius Glax
Julius Glax (born March 11, 1846 in Vienna , † August 9, 1922 in Opatija ) was an Austrian doctor .
Life
Julius Glax studied medicine at the University of Innsbruck , the University of Graz and the University of Vienna . During his studies he was active in three corps , namely with Teutonia Graz (1864), Corps Athesia Innsbruck (1865) and Saxonia Vienna (1868). After completing his studies, he was initially assistant to Alexander Rollett at the University of Graz . He completed his habilitation in internal medicine in 1876 and was professor of hydrotherapy and balneotherapy in Graz from 1880 to 1886 . At the same time he was a spa doctor in Rohitsch (Styria) from 1875 to 1887 . In 1886 he gave up teaching at the university and settled as a doctor in Opatija.
