Alexei Andrejewitsch Samkow ( Russian Алексей Андреевич Замков ; * 1883 , † October 25, 1942 in Moscow ) was a Soviet doctor and biologist.

Samkov developed the first hormone preparation, grawidan , which was very popular in the USSR in the 1930s. The users of the preparation included Clara Zetkin , Maxim Gorki , Molotow and Kalinin . In 1938 his work was made difficult by state repression.

Samkov was married to the Russian sculptor Vera Ignatievna Muchina . He suffered a heart attack and died in 1942.
