Alexei Lapin

Alexei Lapin ( Russian Алексей Лапин , in English transcription Alexey Lapin , born December 17, 1966 ) is a Russian jazz pianist and composer in the field of free jazz and improvised music .

Act

Lapin works in various musical projects a. a. with Sebastian Gramss / Frank Gratkowski , Melvyn Poore / Matthias Schubert , Thomas Buckner , Juri Jaremtschuk Nikolai Rubanow , Lena Sedych and Alexei Kruglow . He also released some albums under his own name. In 2011 the trio album Inner Spire ( Leo ) was created in St. Petersburg with the Canadian musicians Michel Lambert and François Carrier .
