Alexei Leonidowitsch Ogrinchuk
Alexei Leonidowitsch Ogrintschuk , also known as Alexei Ogrintchouk ( Russian Алексей Леонидович Огринчук ; born December 31, 1978 in Moscow ) is a Russian oboist .
Life
Alexei Ogrintchouk was a student at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow and later studied at the Conservatoire de Paris with Maurice Bourgue, Jacques Tys and Jean-Louis Capezzali.
At the age of 20 he was appointed principal oboist by the Rotterdam Philharmonic under the chief conductor Valeri Gergiev , a position he held until 2005. Since then he has been engaged in the same position with the Concertgebouw Orchestra .
As a soloist a. a. with the Concertgebouw Orchestra, the BBC orchestras and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra .
