Alexei Viktorovich Tertyschny ( Russian Алексей Викторович Тертышный * 27. March 1977 in Chelyabinsk , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player , who throughout his career including for the Traktor Chelyabinsk , Ak Bars Kazan and Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Continental Hockey -Liga or Superliga was active.
Career
Alexei Tertyschny began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the HK Traktor Chelyabinsk , for whose professional team he was active in the Russian super league from 1994 to 1999 . The winger then moved to his league rivals Ak Bars Kazan , with whom he was Russian runners-up in 2000 and 2002. From 2003 to 2007 he was on the ice for HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk , with which he became Russian champion for the first time in the 2006/07 season after another runner-up in 2004 . He also won the Spengler Cup with Metallurg in 2005 .
Tertyschny spent the 2007/08 season at HK Avangard Omsk . He was then committed to the following season by HK ZSKA Moscow from the newly founded Continental Hockey League . However, he left the capital city after 21 games, in which he was able to score eight points, and joined the HK Sibir Novosibirsk . In the 2009/10 season, the left shooter lost to his ex-club Ak Bars Kazan in the playoff final for the Gagarin Cup . For the 2010/11 season , the Russian was signed by the Ukrainian KHL newcomer HK Budiwelnik Kiev. Since this did not take up the game, Tertyschny moved back to his home club in Chelyabinsk. At the end of the season, his contract was not renewed and Tertyschny ended his career.

Alexei Tertyschny has been active as a trainer since 2013, first with HK Tschelmet Tscheljabinsk , later with the junior team Mamonty Jugry , then as an assistant trainer at Kunlun Red Star . At the beginning of the 2017/18 season he looked after the Chinese participant in the Wysschaja Hockey League , KRS Heilongjiang , who also belongs to Kunlun Red Star. From September 2017, Tertyschny was head coach at HK Tschelmet Tscheljabinsk again, a year later he became assistant coach at the partner club HK tractor. In October 2018 he was promoted to head coach at Traktor before moving back to the second member for the 2019/20 season. After the season, his engagement there ended.
