Alexei Viktorovich Churin ( Russian Алексей Викторович Чурин ; * May 27, 1980 ) is a Russian biathlete .

Alexei Tschurin made his international debut in 2000 at the Junior European Championships in Zakopane . In addition to a fifth place in the individual as the best place in an individual race, Tschurin won the gold medal with the relay, which also included Ivan Tscheresow . At the subsequent Junior World Championship in Hochfilzen , he won silver behind the German relay with the relay, to which Nikolai Kruglow now also belonged. In 2003 he made his first race in the European Cup in Ridnaun and finished 25th in the sprint. At the next European Cup station in Obertilliach , he was third in the individual and won the sprint race. At its peak of the 2003/04 season, he won the bronze medal in singles at the European Championships. He made his World Cup debut in 2007 in Khanty-Mansiysk . After a 47th place in the sprint, he was able to advance to 18th place in the pursuit and win World Cup points for the first time.
