Alexis Martin

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Alexis Martin (* 1834 ; † 1904 ) was a French writer.

Martin was friends with the writers Louis de Fourcaud and Charles-Augustin Sainte-Beuve . Due to the common interest in contemporary literature, I also came into contact with other Parnassians . The publisher Alphonse Lemerre later became aware of Martin and took some of his poems into the later famous anthology Le Parnasse contemporain . Today Martin is part of this literary association.
