The Alföldi Kéktúra (Blue Tour "Hungarian Plain") is a Hungarian long-distance hiking trail.

history

It was opened in 1996 and extends over 848 km from Szekszárd to Sátoraljaújhely . There is evidence that around 800 hikers had walked the entire length of the path by 2018.

The Alföldi Kéktúra complements (together with the rock builder Pál Dél-dunántúli Kéktúra ) the already existing long-distance hiking trail Országos Kéktúra to a round tour through the whole of Hungary. A northern part of Alföldi Kéktúra is integrated into the European long-distance hiking trails E3 and E4 , a south-western part in the E7 .
