Országos Kéktúra
The Országos Kéktúra ( German Blue Country Tour ), abbreviated to OKT, is a Hungarian long-distance hiking trail.
history
It was opened in 1952 and runs for 1128 km from Írottkő via Budapest to Hollóháza . In 1983 the eastern part of Országos Kéktúra became part of the International Mountain Hiking Trail of Friendship Eisenach - Budapest (EB), the only international long-distance hiking trail of the formerly socialist states of GDR , Poland , Czechoslovakia and Hungary . Today most of the Országos Kéktúra is integrated into the European long-distance hiking trail E4 (Gibraltar - Pyrenees - Lake Constance - Balaton - Rila - Crete). Two other Hungarian long-distance hiking trails have now been added to Országos Kéktúra, namely the rock builder Pál Dél-dunántúli Kéktúra and the Alföldi Kéktúra , which are sometimes also viewed as parts of the Országos Kéktúra.
