The European long-distance hiking trail E7 is a long-distance hiking trail that runs in an east-west direction from the Canary Islands to Romania . It begins at the ancient zero meridian on the island of El Hierro and extends over Lisbon and the Portuguese - Spanish border to the east through Andorra , France , Italy and Slovenia to Hungary and Serbia . It is to be extended via Romania and thus lead from the Atlantic to the Black Sea .

The Hungarian section of the trail runs from Bajánsenye on the Slovenian border to Szekszárd together with the rock builder Pál Dél-dunántúli Kéktúra and from Szekszárd to Mindszent together with the Alföldi Kéktúra . From there the route continues to the Romanian border near Nagylak.
The Serbian section leads from the Hungarian-Serbian border near Horgoš on the Tisza via Novi Sad on the Danube to the Macedonian border near the Prohor Pcinjski monastery.
