Klischkiwzi ( Ukrainian Клішківці ; Russian Клишковцы Klischkowzy , Romanian Clișcăuți ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Chernivtsi with about 6500 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in 1434, is the administrative center of the 72.61 km² district council of the same name within the Khotyn Rajon , to which the villages Mlynky ( Млинки , ⊙ ) with about 450 inhabitants and Polyana ( Поляна , ⊙ ) with about 1000 inhabitants belong.
The village is located in Bessarabia on the bank of the 19 km long Danivka ( Данівка ), a left tributary of the 42 km long Rynhach ( Рингач ), which in turn is a left tributary of the Prut .
Klischkiwzi is located 38 km northeast of the Oblast capital Chernivtsi and 25 km southwest of the district center of Chotyn . The T-26–21 Territorial Road runs past the village in a north-south direction and the T-26–03 in an east-west direction .
