Alf Ivar Hildrum (born April 18, 1948 in Overhalla ) is a Norwegian journalist, politician of the Social Democratic Party (Arbeiderpartiet) and editor-in-chief of the private TV channel TV2 .

Hildrum worked from 1977 to 1978 as a secretary at the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Trade. He then became the personal advisor to Tove Strand Gerhardsen . From 1978 he worked as a journalist at Arbeidernes Pressekontor and in 1981 he became editor-in-chief of the Bergens Arbeiderblad . In 1984 he became co-editor in the Arbeidernes Pressekontor and in 1988 managing director of A-pressen . In 2007 he became editor-in-chief of the private broadcaster TV 2.
