Alf Watson

Alf Watson (actually Alfred Joseph Watson; born May 26, 1907 , † August 23, 1992 ) was an Australian hurdler and sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 and in Berlin in 1936 , he was eliminated in the 110 m hurdles and 400 m hurdles in the preliminary run.

In 1938 he finished fourth over 440 yard hurdles at the British Empire Games in Sydney and won bronze in the 4-by-110-yard relay.

He was twice Australian champion over 120 yard hurdles (1930, 1932) and 440 yard hurdles (1930, 1936). In 1926 he became Australasian Champion over the 440 yard hurdles.
