Budzisław Kościelny is a place in the rural municipality ( gmina wiejska ) Kleczew in the Greater Poland Voivodeship in the powiat Koniński , Poland . The place is also a Sołectwo ( Schulzenamt) of the Gmina .
Up to 1870 Budzisław Kościelny was an independent municipality.
In the years 1975-1998 Budzisław Kościelny was administratively part of the then Konin Voivodeship .
Since 1912 there was a train station in Budzisław Kościelny, which was mainly used for loading sugar beet. Two narrow-gauge railway lines left there:
- Budzisław Kościelny-Marszewo
- Anastazewo-Budzisław Kościelny-Konin
Both lines have now been shut down.
