Alfenide
Alfénide is a less common name for a material that is an alloy of nickel , copper and zinc . From this, profane and sacred equipment , coins , plates and the like made. Often the products are subsequently electroplated silver . At the beginning of the 20th century, there were numerous manufactories in Berlin, among others, that offered Alfenide goods . But the Kayserzinn company in Cologne also offered Alfenidewaaren (sic!). The first products with this designation came onto the market from 1888 by the French Alfénide foundry Christofle . It's another trademark for alpaca .
