Alfons Marmon (born July 14, 1873 in Sigmaringen ; † 1928 there ) was a German sculptor and altar builder.

Alfons Marmon was the son of the sculptor Franz Xaver Marmon (1832–1878). His father was the owner of the church art workshop Marmon , which after his early death was initially continued by the widow with the help of employed sculptors. Alfons Marmon then took over the management of the workshop, from 1904/1905 together with his brother Franz Xaver (1879–1963). In 1908, the brothers founded a branch workshop in Switzerland.

His son Fidelis Marmon (1906–1987) worked primarily as a restorer.

A division of individual works between the brothers Adolf and Franz Xaver is usually not possible, they were all made in the Marmon art workshop and are often only listed under their names.

For a list of the work in the workshop, see the Marmon art workshop .
