Alfonsa's Bartkus
Alfonsas Bartkus (born August 20, 1946 in Nevočiai , Šilalė district ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from secondary school in 1964, he completed his degree in industrial engineering at the Kauno politechnikos institutas in 1972 . In 1963 he worked in the public prosecutor's office in Šilalė , and from 1973 to 1990 as a civil engineer in Šilalė. From 1990 to 1995 he was deputy, from 1990 to 1994 chairman of the Šilalė council. From 1995 to 1996 he was an assistant to Elvyra Janina Kunevičienė , from 1995 to 1997 a member of the Šilalė Council and from 1996 to 2000 of the Seimas .
From 1993 he was a member of Tėvynės sąjunga .
He is married. With wife Liucija he has the daughter Lidija and the son Karolis.
