Alfonsas Giedraitis
Alfonsas Giedraitis (born March 28, 1925 in Latava , Anykščiai district ; † August 12, 2007 in Ėriškiai , Panevėžys district ) was a Lithuanian politician.
Life
In 1937 he graduated from Andrioniškis Primary School and from 1941 to 1943 he studied at Raguvėlė Agricultural School . From 1943 to 1944 he studied at the Panevėžys Agricultural Engineering Institute . From 1944 to 1946 he worked as a point manager in the sugar factory ( Panevėžio cukraus fabrikas ) in Joniškėlis . From 1946 to 1947 he studied at Anykščiai grammar school . In 1961 he graduated from Joniškėlis Agricultural Technical Center with distinction. From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas and from 2000 to 2007 a member of the council of the Panevėžys district community .
From 1961 he was a member of the CPSU , from 1990 of the LDDP .
