Alfonse de Portugal (German: Alfons of Portugal ; Portuguese: Afonso de Portugal , Latin: Alphonsus Lusitanus or Aufonsus de Portugal ) (* around 1135 - † March 1, 1207 ) was the twelfth Grand Master of the Order of St. John from 1203 to 1206 .

He was an illegitimate son of King Alfonso I of Portugal and Flamula Gomez of Trava. At the time of his election he was not yet a member of the order.

He refused to participate in the Fourth Crusade against the Christian city of Constantinople. Because of its leadership style, internal disputes arose in the Order. Because of this he finally resigned and sailed back to Portugal. On the way home he was poisoned, presumably by his own relatives, and died. He was buried in the São João de Alporão Church in Marvila near Santarem .
