Alfraganus is a small impact crater in the rugged highlands southwest of Mare Tranquillitatis . It lies between the Delambre craters in the northwest and the irregularly shaped customs officer in the south.
Alfraganus is circular and bowl-shaped. It has a sharp ridge without noticeable traces of erosion. The crater floor takes up almost half the diameter of the crater.
