Zöllner is an impact crater on the moon, west of the Sinus Asperitatis . To the north is the smaller Alfraganus crater and to the northwest is the oval Taylor crater . To the southeast lies the Kant crater .

The rim of the Zöllner crater forms an irregular oval with the greatest extent in north-south direction. The crater wall is low and eroded. At the southeast end there is a distorted, crater-like depression. The narrow crater floor still has a central peak.

The landing site of Apollo 16 is about 80 kilometers west-southwest of the crater rim.
