Delambre is an impact crater on the front of the moon west of Mare Tranquillitatis , east of the two conspicuous craters Theon Senior and Theon Junior , northwest of Hypatia . The crater rim is scalloped and the interior shows traces of concentric landslides.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the French astronomer Jean-Baptiste Joseph Delambre .
