Theon Senior is an impact crater northwest of Delambre Crater and south of D'Arrest Crater . Together with the crater Theon Junior , which is just a few crater diameters away in a south-southeast direction, it forms a pair of twins.
Theon Senior is circular and bowl-shaped. At the foot of its sloping inner walls is a small crater floor. The crater shows only minimal traces of erosion caused by impacts and therefore appears relatively young.
