Alfred Kerr Foundation

The Alfred Kerr Foundation is an institution founded on the initiative of Alfred Kerr's children (1867–1948), Judith and Michael Kerr , which promotes young German-speaking actors with the Alfred Kerr Acting Prize. The foundation is based in Berlin.

Funding activity

Every year on the last day of the Berlin Theatertreffen in May, the foundation awards the Alfred Kerr Acting Prize in cooperation with the Tagesspiegel . The prize is endowed with 5000 euros.
