Alfred Adler (ethnologist)
Alfred Adler (born 1934 ) is a French ethnologist and anthropologist .
Life
Adler was employed in 1966 as "Attaché de Recherche" at the Center national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS). According to publications, Adler has been working in the research group Systèmes de pensée en Afrique noire in Ivry-sur-Seine since 1976 . In 1988 he was Director of Research (Directeur de Recherche) at CNRS and a member of the Laboratoire des Sociologie Comparative at the University of Nanterre . and in 1998 he also worked at the École pratique des hautes études (EPHE).
Adler was married to the later journalist Laure Adler in his second marriage .
