Alfred "Fredy" Bachmann (born March 31, 1945 ) is a former Swiss rower .

The 1.80 m tall Bachmann rowed for the See-Club Luzern . At the 1972 Olympic Games , Bachmann and Heinrich Fischer won the silver medal in two without a helmsman behind Siegfried Brietzke and Wolfgang Mager from the GDR. Previously, he erruderte already at the European Rowing Championships in 1971 a fifth place in the B-final of the men in Copenhagen Einers .
