Alfred Ernest Fripp

Alfred Ernest Fripp (born June 29, 1866 in Ottawa , Ontario , † March 25, 1938 ) was a Canadian lawyer and politician.

Fripp was born in Ottawa, Ontario to Sidney Bowles Fripp. For the first time he was elected as a representative of the historic Conservative Party in the 1911 general election for the Ottawa- encompassing constituency (English. Riding) Ottawa (City of) as a member of the Canadian lower house . He was able to defend his mandate in the 1917 election , but lost it in the 1921 election . In 1933 he was appointed to the Canadian Senate for the province of Ottawa . He died in 1938 while still in office.

Fripp was married to Clementine Bell since 1894.
