Alfred Gotthold Meyer
Alfred Gotthold Meyer (born March 1, 1864 in Berlin ; † December 17, 1904 in Charlottenburg ) was Professor of the History of Applied Arts at the Royal Technical University of Charlottenburg .
His monograph Eisenbauten was only published posthumously in 1907 . Its history and aesthetics , completed by Wilhelm Freiherr von Tettau (1872–1929), in which he examined the effects of using iron as a building material on style formation.
