Alfred Haase (Manager)

Karl Helmut Alfred Haase (born May 12, 1903 in Ilmenau ; † March 5, 1972 ) was a German lawyer and CEO of Allianz Versicherungs-AG .

Haase passed the Abitur at the humanistic Königin-Carola-Gymnasium in Leipzig. He then completed a law degree at the University of Leipzig . During his studies he became a member of the Afrania country team . Haase worked as an assessor at the Saxon Ministry of Justice and then worked for a trade association. In 1933 he started working for Allianz Versicherungs-AG, first in Dresden and from 1937 as general manager in Berlin. Haase was appointed deputy board member in 1938 and was a full board member from 1946. From 1962 to 1971 he was the spokesman for the board . Alfred Haase was also a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank AG from 1962 to 1972 .
