Alfred Heyl

Alfred Heyl (born February 6, 1882 in Bibra , Sachsen-Meiningen ; † March 9, 1964 in Weilburg , Oberlahnkreis ) was a German teacher and agricultural scientist. Numerous publications on crop and agriculture come from him. From the 1920s he published a number of textbooks for agricultural schools.

Heyl worked as a lecturer at the agricultural school in Weilburg from 1908 and took over as director there in 1930 until it was closed. At the same time he taught biology at the Philippinum grammar school between 1940 and 1945 .
