Alfred Kappauf

Alfred Kappauf (born December 1, 1952 ; † February 1, 2016 ) was a German psychotherapist .

Life

Kappauf studied education and psychology with the degrees of a qualified pedagogue and qualified psychologist at the University of Heidelberg. His focus was on behavior therapy, systemic therapy and hypnotherapy for the treatment of trauma experiences. He was a consultant for psychiatric and psychosocial facilities, palliative and hospice facilities and the pain clinic of a large clinic. He served on numerous health care bodies and associations. From 2002 until his death on February 1, 2016, he was President of the State Chamber of Psychotherapists Rhineland-Palatinate . In this function he set far-reaching accents for the training and work of psychotherapists in Rhineland-Palatinate.
