Alfred Münch

Alfred Münch (born September 11, 1947 in Meiningen ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Münch achieved secondary school leaving certificate and did an apprenticeship as a tool fitter. He was a trainer for industrial apprentices and also studied mechanical engineering in Remscheid to become a qualified engineer . In 1971 he joined Siemens AG Munich in the data technology division, where he worked as a software developer, specialist consultant for organization and IT use. From 1980 until he was elected to the state parliament, he was sales representative as head of regional sales in the administrative district of Swabia .

In 1969 Münch became a member of the SPD, where he was district chairman in the Fürstenfeldbruck district from 1975 . Furthermore, he was parliamentary group leader of the SPD in the Olching municipal council and in the district council in Fürstenfeldbruck. From 1982 to 1986 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
