Alfred Rohr

Alfred Rohr (born October 3, 1945 in Hochegg, Stockenboi municipality ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and teacher. From 2003 to 2005 he was a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Life

After completing compulsory school, Alfred Rohr attended the evangelical teacher training college in Oberschützen and graduated in 1966. He then became a teacher at the elementary school in Podersdorf am See . After completing the military service , he was a school year teacher at the elementary school in Oberdorf and then switched to the secondary school in Stadtschlaining .

Alfred Rohr was married on April 8, 1967 and has two children.

Alfred Rohr was councilor of the Stadtschlaining municipality from 1977. In 1992 he was elected mayor and held this office until 2006. He was also the district chairman of the ÖAAB from 1999 and represented the ÖVP between January 30, 2003 and October 24, 2005 in the Burgenland state parliament.
