Alfred Schubert (architect)

Karl Maximilian Alfred Schubert (* in the 19th century; † in the 20th century) was a German architect .

Alfred Schubert worked as a master builder for agricultural construction and taught first as a teacher for agricultural construction at the royal Saxon building trade school in Zittau , then as a teacher for the same subject at the royal Prussian building trade school in Höxter , later as a senior teacher with the title of professor at the royal Prussian building trade school in Kassel . He published numerous writings in his specialty, agricultural construction. In 1891 he won first prize in the architectural competition for a cattle barn of the German Agricultural Society.

He was married to Katharina nee Leonard, their son was the art historian Alfred Schubert (1889–1965).
