Alfred Seitz (resistance fighter)
Alfred Seitz (born February 10, 1903 in Mannheim ; † September 15, 1942 in Stuttgart ) worked as a nurse at the Rohrbach Hospital, today's Thorax Clinic in Heidelberg , from 1939 . Like his wife Käthe, he was a member of the resistance organization " Lechleiter Group ", which was involved in the newspaper Der Vorbote, published by the KPD - an information and campaign organ against Hitler's fascism . Like 13 other members, he was charged with "preparation for high treason " and on the morning of September 15, 1942 by guillotine executed.
