Alfred Sosgórnik
Alfred Sosgórnik (born August 16, 1933 in Zawadzkie ; † February 8, 2013 ) was a Polish shot putter .
At the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm in 1958 , he was eighth and sixth at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome.
In 1962 he won bronze at the European Championships in Belgrade . At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 he was eliminated from the qualification, and at the European Championship in Budapest in 1966 he was fourth.
He was Polish champion six times (1958–1962, 1965). He set his personal best of 19.24 m on May 12, 1963 in Elblag .
