Alfred Tittel (lawyer)

Richard Alfred Tittel (born August 15, 1870 in Eibenstock ; † July 17, 1937 ) was a German judge .

Life

During his studies, Tittel became a member of the Association of German Students in Leipzig . The son of a Protestant businessman became an assessor in 1897 and a public prosecutor in Dresden in 1901 . From 1904 to September 1907 he was an unskilled worker in the Saxon Ministry of Justice. In July 1908 he became a district judge in Dresden. He was appointed to the council the following year. In 1912 he became a district court advisor in Dresden, in 1913 regional court director in Zwickau . During the First World War he was a judge-martial and major in the reserve. In mid-May 1919 he became an unskilled worker in the Ministry of the Interior, and in 1921 an unskilled worker at the Reich Court . In 1922 he was appointed to the council. In 1936 he was a member of the Committee of the Reichsgericht for the reform of criminal procedure and participated in the decision of the Grand Senate for criminal matters on the definition of " racial disgrace ". In 1937 he retired. He wasn't in any party.
