Alfredo Costa (born before 1944) is a former Argentine football player who mainly played in defense or in defensive midfield . With León FC , he won the Mexican football championship three times in the late 1940s and early 1950s .

career

Costa was signed by León FC in 1944 after they had been accepted into the Mexican professional league introduced a year earlier . Costa played until the 1952/53 season with the Esmeraldas , for which the attacking defensive player scored a total of 20 goals in the league games in nine seasons.
